4 year olds are so funny!

The other day I was cutting up a fresh pineapple and my 4 year old came in to the kitchen and said, with huge eyes and a frightened look on his face, "Mom! WHAT are you doing to Spongebob's house?!" It was the cutest darn thing I had seen in a long time! I really wish I could have caught his expression on camera. It was priceless!

My daughter is crazy

Yesterday I was spending time with my daughter just having "girl time" when a commercial comes on TV about those motorized scooters and it tells you how you qualify for one. It said "if you have fallen in the past 12 months" (my daughter falls like once a day! lol) so she pipes up "Hey mom, I need one of those things!" It was so funny because she looked serious about it! She has such an amazing personality! Next week I am taking my kids camping so I hope to post come pictures of our trip on here.

A few weeks ago my 4 year old, with wide eyes and a very firm finger points at me and says "you're not da boss, I'm da boss" (he was not happy with me, I told him to pick up his toys). So I just tried to ignore this and go about my cleaning. He comes back about 30 minutes later with tears in his eyes, a look of major disappointment and with a cry says "Mommy, I don't wanna be da boss no more!" It was so pitiful but still very amusing. I asked him why and he informed me no one would listen. With my older children I would have used this as an ideal time to explain my frustrations when they do not listen to me. In stead I just chuckled silently as possible and comforted my little itty bitty man. A tickle and some kisses and he was back to normal.

My son Calin (7), and I were driving somewhere just me and him having a delightful conversation about his school and all his friends. He told me he got married on the playground but is not sure who he married because the girl is a twin, he didn't know which one it was he kissed and said "i do" to! wow!

The amazing things my kids say

So today my 11 year old said something about her cell phone (it is through Virgin Mobile) I asked her if she knew what Virgin was. She said, and I quote, "someone from another country". WOW She cracks me up. My kids say amazing things and I want to start posting things like this on here. I hope I can remember all of them!

What is next?

So the past year has been a roller coaster ride of mishaps, misfortunes, and mistakes! My father passed away in September and had a huge impact on my life. I can't believe how fast it has come and gone. My kids are back to normal and so is life. I'm excited to see what happens in the next few months as things start to fall into place with a new job and a new home. I had an interesting weekend and am wore out from trick-or-treating. I am SO looking forward to next weekend in the pines! FLAGSTAFF here I come! I am also looking forward to my birthday on the 12th. Wow 28 already!!! That is crazy! I hope to post pictures soon of the kids and get things really up and going!

starting over

It has been a while since I was on here and wanted to start up again. A lot has changed and anyone who was reading this knows my life did a complete 180! But a year later things are back on track and I am happy again! I will post some pics of the kids soon but just wanted to update y'all.
