Just a gripe!

Why is it that when someone asks you to do something for them, and you do it YOUR WAY, because YOU are the one doing it, that you seem to get a shitty response. This just pisses me off! GRRRR

Calin's 1st Rodeo

Mr. 5 had his first competition in the rodeo tonight. He did what we call "mutton bustin" *riding sheep* Cute i know right? He rocked it! He lasted way longer than we though he would. He got 73 points, for y'all that don't know Rodeo, that was pretty good. He got 4th and recieved a belt buckle, a custom memorable mug w/ the year on it, a bandanna, and some patches for his Rodeo shirt (we will buy it, he needs one). He is looking forward to riding, and competing, against his little brother in the spring. Will post picture tomorrow.

a day in the life of a mantis??? :)

Today after I came home from dropping off my kids at the bus stop I spotted this praying mantis by my door. I took some other pics too. Copenhage, our lil mutt who always makes me feel safe.
